Our story
We built this because we watched schools run on spreadsheets and goodwill
Mozzine started in 2018 building software for institutions that had outgrown their filing cabinets but could not justify an enterprise ERP. What we found in almost every one was the same picture: a fee system that did not talk to the attendance register, results assembled by hand each term, and one overworked person who knew where everything actually lived.
SkoolZoom came out of that. Not a single clever feature, but the unglamorous work of making admissions, fees, attendance, examinations, payroll and parent communication share one record, so nobody has to reconcile them by hand.
Today 300+ institutions run on it, from single primary schools to multi-campus groups and universities. It is strongest in the markets we know best and used by institutions well beyond them.

Put a serious platform within reach of ordinary institutions
Enterprise systems that genuinely connect admissions, finance, academics and communication have existed for years. They have been priced and staffed for universities with an IT department, which leaves most schools choosing between disconnected point tools and nothing at all.
SkoolZoom exists to close that gap: the breadth of an institutional platform, at a price and a setup effort a 300-student school can actually carry.
Depth in what schools do daily, before breadth for its own sake
The temptation in this market is to add whatever is fashionable and put it on the brochure. We would rather the fee module handle your genuinely awkward instalment case than ship a feature nobody asked for.
That means the roadmap is shaped by what customers hit in a real term: reporting that answers the question actually being asked, mobile that works for a parent with one hand free, and setup that does not need a consultant.
What that rules out
We are not trying to be the cheapest option, because a system this central to an institution cannot be supported properly at a race-to-the-bottom price. We are also not chasing every trend in education technology. If a capability does not help someone get through their week, it competes for attention with something that would.
How we work
You are not buying a download. You are choosing a supplier.
A student information system holds your records for years, so how the people behind it behave matters as much as the feature list. These are the things we commit to, including the ones that are not flattering.
We train each role separately
Office staff, teachers and administrators learn their own portal. Adoption fails when people are handed a system built for somebody else's job and left to work out which parts apply to them.
We expect you to start small
Most institutions begin with students, fees, attendance and examinations, then switch on transport, hostel or payroll once the routine has settled. Adding a module later is a settings change, not a second project.
We say no when it is a no
If the product does not do what you need, we would rather tell you during the demo than discover it at rollout. A bad fit costs us a reference and costs you a year.
Your data stays yours
Exports are available whenever you want them, in formats you can actually use. Software that holds records hostage is software nobody should sign a multi-year commitment to.
Changes are traceable
Every record carries who created it and who last changed it, and deletions are reversible rather than destructive, so a disputed mark or fee has a history somebody can check.

You need a fully localized non-English interface
The product interface is English. If your staff need to work in another language day to day, that is a genuine blocker rather than a preference.
You want one narrow tool, done cheaply
If attendance alone is the whole requirement, a single-purpose app will cost less and do that job well. The value here is in the connections between modules.
You need it live next week
Structure, import and training take a few weeks. Rushing that is how institutions end up with a system nobody trusts and a spreadsheet running alongside it.
